This is a non story, a shame what happened, this cannot overshadow the day.
ESI loving this? So what.

In comparison to what ESI have stolen from the club a bottle of fizz and plonk Is very very minor , fuke ESI !This is a non story, a shame what happened, this cannot overshadow the day.

There should not have been a press release, or at least, worded very diiferently.Maybe a few protesters met up at the pub and had a few too many. I don't think the protest or the petty crime will cause any major ripples. As they say, yesterdays chip paper. Mind you, the angry brigade have now added Olly to their Charlton staff hate list, but I don't think that will help the cause.

Sorry, but stealing from the club is stealing from the club, whether that’s a couple of bottles of plonk or range rovers. We’ve all spent the last few months rightly slating ESI, but as soon as there was “something for nothing“, some took advantage of it. IMO you lose all credibility with those actions.
I also cringed when I saw the fella (in white trainers) with his feet all over the boardroom table and it now turns out someone did “lift“ a games console. It’s all right saying it’s going to be returned and the drinks tab will be covered, but the damage has already been done.
A few comments I’ve heard from non-Charlton fans, who admittedly know nothing about what’s going on, have been less than complimentary.
I pretty much agree with that. We were well on top regarding propaganda, and served ESI a classic own goal. I still think the positives outweigh the negatives, but whoever took the console is an idiot, and needs to be identified and kept clear of the club and the protests.Sorry, but stealing from the club is stealing from the club, whether that’s a couple of bottles of plonk or range rovers. Had a report that in one of the exec boxes yesterday, 20 bottles of champagne were just smashed against a wall.
These were part of packages bought by box owners and didn't even belong to the club.
What a waste.
Bet if it was Bovril it wouldn't have been chucked away like that .

Don't believe all the crap posted by cronies of Chris Farnell, even if you want it to be true.
In fact, don't believe any of it.
Wasn't from Chris Farnell or his cronies.
It was from the.person that has had that exec box for over 30 years.
I’m sure the old bill wouldn’t of walked away if this was trueThe glass cabinet the champagne was in was also smashed up - this had his firms logo in it (a firm that have sponsored both Charlton and the upbeats for a very.long time).

Exactly. And so far we have heard this from...?
No other accounts of it from any other source.
We'll have to be forgiven for being somewhat sceptical about it until some evidence surfaces.
Without evidence we're certainly not going to believe it - seeing as we were not born yesterday.
Southall will always have to be careful who he opens the door to in the future.I've heard that Southall gave permission for the protesters to help themselves to alcohol, and that rather leaves a door open to take the piss. Is dear old Matt going to bring charges? I don't think so lol.
I’m not condoning this behaviour and it was a bit of an own goal in my opinion but it’s like Ronny Biggs being outraged by a fare dodger - fuke ESI !Sorry, but stealing from the club is stealing from the club, whether that’s a couple of bottles of plonk or range rovers.
