And under the circumstances he can be forgiven for mentioning 'the journey' :emoticon-0142-happy

Great initiative, and a great gesture of support.

This is going to be a grim winter for too many kids. Anything like this that can bring them a little joy is a precious gift <gift> :emoticon-0152-heart :emoticon-0157-sun:

Sandgaard has started things off very well and hopefully we will see a successful new era with him in charge.
However, whilst he does not own The Valley SOME money from the gate receipts finds it's way into Dushitelet's pocket.

Sandgaard has a 15-year lease on the assets, and pays a fixed rent which hasn't been divulged to my knowledge. So whether the club loses money or makes a profit won't affect the rent, so I believe this statement is incorrect.

The arrangement to pay Duchatelet 'X' amount (whatever it is) for 15 years was Sandgaard's.
I think it's highly unlikely there is any connection between ticket money and those payments to RD.

So Roland gets his regular payments whether 20,000 fans cram into the Valley or none.
Sandgaard is rich enough to insulate Charlton fans from his undisclosed dealings with the Belgian.

If I'm right about that, then there seems to be no financial reason to boycott.
Only a matter of principle concerning Roland's continued ownership of the former CAFC assets.

Unless of course we still don't get the Valley & Sparrows Lane back even after the 15 years.
Might the plan be to move CAFC somewhere else in 2035?
Or is that a paranoid speculation?

On the bright side though :emoticon-0157-sun: we might be well established in the Prem by then, and have need of a spanking new 50,000 seat stadium :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

But not a clapped out old athletics arena like Wet Spam.

For the first time since its inception,.., years .. i have been able to reset my password here on Not606 !!!

Does anyone know if there has been an admin or IT related change in the background of Not606 ? As up until today, anytime i attempted to reset my password it would simply say 'email sent' to your inbox, but nothing ever arrived.

Apologies lads, for being missing in action for so long, but A PC change a few months ago meant i had no chance to log back on until todays reset.

When did the new owner officially come in and why have we suddenly gone on a run of wins ?

2. Thomas Sandgaards takeover led to a total rebuild of our defence, which is now one of the best in the league. This security has given the rest of the team the confidence to go and win.

Special mentions to Amos, Maatsen, Inniss, Famewo, Gunter, Pratley and Matthews. Plus a few more I’ve forgotten.
