so am i correct in thinking that we owe £50m for the ground and training ground. And, also have a £50m debt to baton?

    That's a cheery thought.

You'd hope those debts were the 'same' debt technically, and that when Roland gets the £50m or £60m (whatever) owed by ESI in their deal to purchase the rest of Charlton Athletic to reunite the Club with the assets & land, we will finally be all square and RD will f**k off at last.

But I wouldn't put anything past the old scrote, including the notion that we owe him £100m plus altogether.

I haven't seen this confirmed yet. My previous understanding was that he sold the club for one pound, at which point his conection with Charlton was terminated, so I don't know if the last pair of clowns also agreed to repay all the loans Staprix made to Charlton at a later date - if not Roland has his pound to spend. He also has ownership of the ground, plus an agreement from ESI to pay rent for 200,000 per year plus a purchase withn five yeras for a payment of 50m. Pretty canny but of negotiation by Nimer and Southall, I hope they conduct their next businesses with the same lack of financial nous, as every detail that has come out regarding the purchase from Duchatalet suggests he played them like a violin.

Giving out contracts to people does not mean you have any money to throw around. Southall/Nimer gave Bowyer a new contract in January and they didn’t have a pot to piss in!!

Bowyer has every right to be concerned.
His diplomacy regarding lack of funds and ongoing financial uncertainty is remarkable to behold.

He has had to work in circumstances where many would hold him blameless for walking away long ago. The way he sticks to his job allows lesser men in the board room to get away with every kind of poor stewardship and corruption. To watch low-lifes like Duchatelet, Nimer and Southall using dedicated people with integrity like LB and Johnnie Jackson is maddening.

Our manager continues to do the best he can, while spivs and con-men wreck the Club and undo all his hard work.

It's the usual scenario isn't it.

Nothing from the EFL three weeks after a new owner comes in.
We don't know if that's because there is an issue with him, or just that the EFL feels it can take all the time it wants to run its checks, and feels no obligation whatsoever to keep fans informed.

Not surprising really. After all, football doesn't need fans anymore.

Bear in mind they put us under a transfer embargo back in january but didn't actually think it necessary to mention it. In other words, they saw a possibility of real problems with our new owners but decided to keep it a secret from the paying customers.
    Not fit for purpose.

    All power to the ex-directors.

The ESI deal is a collusion of spite and criminality. The intentional tearing apart of Charlton Athletic.

Richard Cawley is back at work at the South London Press after being furloughed. Hopefully he can start digging and reporting on these mystery men and their intentions into our football club

Many supporters are now so disillusioned they can't react to any news regarding who the owners are.
It's either cryptic technical stuff from Companies House, or scraps of info on tweets, then repeated by online newspapers with nothing added.
'Click-bait' as I believe it is known.

Roland and the EFL between them will make sure fans are the last to know, whatever happens.
There's no point getting stressed about it anymore.
