... and so another rumoured d-day (10th December) passes.
Not looking good.
But then again, if the Duffen consortium deal had collapsed altogether, surely we'd be hearing about it?
Bit like Brexit, god knows what's gonna happen.

The two deadline day rumours were exactly that, rumours.
If it has passed their due diligence then fit and proper persons test takes at least 3-4 weeks

If the Duffen bud actually existed, there was 3 alleged interested party’s and no news or anything. I think it was all boolocks to try and drum up interest, the only surprise is it wasn’t over the January window

Chaps/chapesses... I haven't been on here for two or three weeks, and I've missed what's been going on with the ownership. Is there any chance someone can give me an outline summary of what's been happening? Have I missed owt? I suspect not...:emoticon-0118-yawn:
Plastic.

Sad these days that youngsters do get their heads turned and start supporting the so-called bigger clubs. I was lucky, I took my grandson once to a game and he was smitten, goes to every home game and quite a number of away fixtures.

I will quote verbatim how I started my eulogy to my Dad a few years ago.....

"I was growing up in Leeds and that came with a certain inherent danger....I could have become a a Leeds United fan. My Dad was determined to make sure that was not going to happen so when I was still a small child, he took me to watch some decrepit lower league team called Hull City"

Sounds a good dad.

As has been said, hopefully no news is good news, we would have heard if Duffen dropped out, it’s either the price being negotiated or securing the funds and that can take time. I can see a full house for the Swansea game UTT

I do wonder, understanding the (alleged/supposed) friendship between the Alarms and the Duffman, if this was a load of bollox to try to get some interest from other parties. A bit like flogging a dead horse, knowing that word got out a long time ago about the way the gruesome two-some approach negotiations.

You mean after Gollum Lloyd announced the deal was a done deal and the Allams would be outa here pdq there aint gonna be a sale .. god damn them pesky stewards and their itk info. Btw those same stewards who told Gollum aint contributors on here are they ?

Yes it was stretching it a bit too far when we heard they had said Goodbye to HFC staff. This farewell tour is lasting longer than Status Quo’s ....Down down deeper and down... I wish they would say goodbye to the rest of us.
