Oh I'm afraid there are still a few. Even recently, someone showed me a text from a bloke who used to go with our group telling my mate he needs to start going again. He referred to Assem Allam as 'The Wise One'. I **** you not.
I'm sure the ratepayers will appreciate the extra cost of the clean up, unless the council can find whoever is behind the posters, then they will bill them.
Seriously? There are quite a number of street signs that would benefit from being cleaned up having been covered in grime and road muck or being obscured by overgrown trees and bushes. I don't think its a priority for councils to clean or clear such signs at the moment so I would be surprised if removing these stickers became a priority. As I recall the earlier sticker campaign - the 'Fish Out, Dolan Out' stickers remained in place on signs and lamp posts for several years.
An anonymous email to there and another to the East Riding, and they'd have no choice. The fact that hasn't happened suggests the Allam's aren't that affected by it.
I was more referring to the others, it was simply that one I replied to, but the Allam's would know the laws relating to flyposting, and they themselves could simply bill those responsible either posting or creating the posters and a complaint to either Council would find that out for them.
I think this will impact & embarass the Allams- especially the old man. Respect & position in society is massively important to Arab culture. Hence why he doesn’t care about the fans, he seems himself as above us & more important. A common trait
