You could say the exact same thing about the Allams, list all the great things like breaking transfer fee's, fund promotions, highest league finish, fa cup final, etc etc.. the list really does go on. But the crap side of it greatly outweighs the good stuff and thats exactly the same for Ashley and Newcastle. Renaming the stadium twice when the fans protested against it, promising to sell the club 10 years ago for x amount but increases it every year and still hasnt sold. no respect for club legends, offering stupid contracts like 8 year deals for Pardew?? under spending, relegations, poor choice managers, embarrassing 0 hour contracts and trying to keep Sports Direct open during lockdown saying they sell essential items. The guys an absolute prick. its the same when other clubs ask us why we hate the Allams so much, they mention all the good things they see from the outside.. when really we know the score. cant see why anyone would think Newcastle fans are different to ours.
Other clubs would kill to be where Ashley's NUFC are. The vermin, SWFC, Derby, NFFC etc all desperate to be where Newcastle are.
Ashley is a modern owner, and very good at what he does. This is 2020 folks- and it's the PL, the ones all owners aspire to be in, and most supporters.
I'm sure he did Den, but even after 35 years of living up here I can't understand a word the buggers are saying.
The 'in football terms' bit sounds exactly like the Allams record at City. Difference being Newcastle fans still manage to fill the ground whilst ours are boycotting. Ask yourselves, why would Ashley want to take on us when he's had a **** full of abuse from Newcastle fans ? Why would he want to put himself through that again ?
