I listened to Sportstalk. The info came from the annoying bloke that covers the Rugby, Gwillam. He was told by senior employees of the SMC that the Allams came to say bye. Apparently the whole of the family were there. RH must have been trying to gather a bit of info between Saturday and now. Gwillam said it was 45 million for the club. Going to be money for strengthening in January.. I'm sure you will be able to listen on catch up. All seemed very plausible, on who the buyer was he just said that the Duffen/Arab bid had been the front runner but wasn't sure. I think the info he gave was genuine so fingers crossed everything goes through this time. Reckons it will be announced in the next 2 weeks.
Without a doubt it'll take time to get through due diligence, particularly if there are "multi/numerous" bidders. How many is numerous - 2, 3, 3+ ? The more there are, the more effort is required by HCAFC's teams (legal, financial etc) to scrutinize the multi bidders - unless of course the Allams don't care about the solidity etc of these potential buyers. Each potential bidder will require info from HCAFC's team of merger/acquisition personnel/consultants. The more there are, the thinner that team will be spread.
