Bearing in mind that we know absolutely nothing about Duffen’s backers, and absolutely nothing about this mystery third bid, then on balance, with what I know now, I prefer the SportyCo bid based on their fan engagement
As we find out more I might change my mind, but right now that’s how I feel
One thing I do hope is that regardless of whether that one is accepted or not that it turns out that Geoff has played a clever card making it clear that one bidder is very serious about fan engagement. That might make any others that are successful more keen to do the same

Portsmouth where owned by The fans but it wasn't long before they realised they could only get do far going down that road .They voted to be taken over by a private owner.

    Interesting
Although not relevant to this thread.
No one, including Geoff, is suggesting that fans will own City.

You need 13% to be an owner apparently.

SportyCo - absolute pie in the sky. Can’t believe people even consider it a potential outcome.

Duffen of Arabia - probably bollocks. No details, nobody has a clue.

Mystery third bid - drivel and tosh <<<< this. But as always TWT.

Yeah but just think. We could have a shed manufacturer sponsor the North stand and that idiot who does the announcements could welcome the crowd with his

"Good afternoon insert said shed manufacturers name North Stand. I might turn up for that.

    Everyone likes a shed

I think the silence is heartening. These things generally don't play out in the public domain until they fail or go through. That is one of the reasons I'm not really taking the SportyCo offer that seriously.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

    Whoever smelt it dealt it.
Whoever said the rhyme did the crime.
    Whoever denied it supplied it.
    Whoever observed it served it.
    Whoever detected it ejected.
    Whoever refuted it tooted it.
    Whoever spoke it broke it.

    A little learning[1].png

The common variation is “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.” However, that’s an misquote of the original line written by British poet Alexander Pope in his work An Essay on Criticism.
