My thoughts are exactly the same. I see investments brochures, proposals etc... Daily most of them get thrown in the bin but the odd ones gets looked at and discussed in our investment committee meetings. This one would be in the bin, it's a shoddy attempt at a proposition. No actual detail, just fancy words, buzz words they hope to use to grab enough attention. They hope people will be blinded by this to invest their hard earned cash. Looks like a load of rubbish to me. If it comes off brilliant, and I hope I'm wrong but I highly doubt I am.
Similar here re Geoff Bielby. Surely needs a further communication from him / HCST to explain a bit (lot) more? Of course they probably can't give full details of their bid etc, but surely he / they need to be saying something further about what the heck is going on with this bid, especially as HCST are supposed to be a group representing us.
People want a quick fix. A Saudi Prince to rocket us up to the Premier League. We'll sign all the best players in January, concessions will return. The Prince will buy the stadium from the council and develop the surrounding area. We'll play in front of a full house every game... Pie in the sky.
Remember the Tigers Co-Op blowing £40k of fans money on buying the leasehold to tigers lair and losing the lot before the year was out.
Do you have any details at all? No matter how vague? Can you confirm that it's the Boyes dream ticket investment!!
