Sunderland have some issues to sort quickly, primarily a wage bill about the size of the rest of League One combined and a load of players who don't want to be there. But despite that, £40m was an absolute steal.
Cluelessness as to the worth? I suspect he knows pretty much what it is worth and knows that by deliberately over pricing the club it will not attract potential buyers and will therefore (in effect) not really be for sale. Everyone knows that there are and have been clubs for sale which offer better value after taking into account ground ownership, ground capacity, playing squad, debts, potential income, and support. The difference is that the former owners of other clubs that were 'For Sale' were genuine and realistic in their desire to sell.
All these new ****ing posts with nothing to say.. One day we're going to see a new post on this topic and it will be actual news of the club being sold!
We all live in hope. We're currently exactly one week away from the second anniversary of this thread, and during that period the boy blunder has done his utmost to make our support of the club less enjoyable with each passing day. But one day the poisonous Allam family will no longer have any connection or affiliation with our great club, at that exact point it will begin to rise from the ashes, and to my mind the most enjoyable thing about that is there's absolutely nothing that the Allam's can do to stop it happening, because it's an inevitable fact/FACT.
I'm not so sure they will, Ehab seems to enjoy being involved with the club. I have said this before, and have been shot down by some, but I heard that Ehab thinks he can make money buying and selling players. Frankly if that is the case, I am sure he will fall flat in his face, but in his deluded state, if he does believe it, then he ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
Terrifying thought, but probably right , hopefully the penny will drop with jnr before he has to apply for administration.
