That wasn't the point you made, but regarding that, armed police may be relatively quickly on the scene in London or a major city. This was a relatively small seaside resort. How quickly would they be there in Scarborough, Skegness, Margate etc? Those blokes were shot soon as they got out of the vehicles because the cops on the scene there were armed as a matter of routine.
In this case you are both right!!! The ordinary Police Officer who shot 4 terrorists dead was a former special forces soldier. To be fair to OLM, the first news about it was different in later reports. And to add to his point, if this happens in say, Southampton there are only two firearms units available in the whole county.

There are a few posters on here who think being 'wrong' about anything is a terrible terrible thing. The truth is, most people when getting something wrong, will shrug their shoulders and go meh. No one can be right about everything (Yes yes Castro, except you) and I don't think most people worry in the slightest about it. I don't know why people think we should worry about it. I propose from now on, whenever anyone calls you out (not you SW3, anyone), just go 'Oh yeah sorry'. That should save a shed load of boring finger pointing and pointless drivel. Oh and by the way everyone, I stated a fact on here the other day, that I later realised was not fact at all and no one noticed, but I aren't going to tell you what it was. Ha!
Because OLM barged in, as he often does, trying to point score on a post I had made, stating things which weren't correct and then, as usual, wouldn't concede that he was wrong and what I had stated was correct. And, it does, as in this country armed police wouldn't be readily available in places like Cambrils, same population as Brid, to respond quickly.
