The Allamhouse loan is repayable on demand, it always has been, they can withdraw that money whenever they like (as long as there are enough funds to cover it). The club can borrow money against future income, secured against that income, indeed it already has (parachute payments, transfer fees, they're all contracted income). The club doesn't need all the income to be cash in the bank to access it, though a couple of recent deals might well have been discounted to make them cash deals. All of this is obviously speculation, but it's based on likelihood and opportunity.
A Championship club, with little in the way of assets, but with a recent Premier League history and a very low asking price, is still an attractive proposition.
The allam apologists on social media are mainly sad middle aged men attention seeking it seems (mid life crisis's)
No one can answer that except someone conducting due diligence. Too many unknowns. You can speculate on how much income has come in since the 30 June 2016 accounts but the outgoings are much tougher. As ever, whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
I think it remiss not to keep in account the influence and business nous of Assem, who is the one of the two who, as the owner, can sell the club.
That Dave bloke was full of it after the Villa game, lauding the Allams for a brilliant masterstroke of bringing Slutsky. Strangely, he's been rather quiet over the last week.
I came to the conclusion a long time ago, that the more people voice their anger against these two, the more they'll dig their heels in. Might be better to bite a few tongues, say jack ****, let them get on with it and just see what happens in both the short and long term. in the hope they sell up.
It's a nice thought but the truth is that they'd be total ****s either way, so personally I'd rather call them out for the ****s that they've proved themselves to be.
Being ridiculed and disrespected, those are the most painful things for them, so let the ridiculing begin.
This is true, IMO, but it doesn't move anything forward unless it is done correctly - and consistently. The whole response to their behavior is lacking in understanding.
