The Ferriby thing seems a bit far-fetched. Supposedly the Allams don't even own Ferriby. I'm sure they're able to influence the son in law if they wanted to, but this seems very unlikely.
Looking at reports on the Dai family and not been fit to run reading or Hull.. It's intriguing that the Allams decided out of all the potential buyers to sell to these After all they will be very selective and only sell to right people who will look after the future of the club Wouldn't surprise me if they new they would fail the premier league test but went ahead as it made it look like they wanted to sell well and pocket 6million deposit
I saw this post earlier and by coincidence was seeing someone I know this morning who is connected with Nth Ferriby, and they just told be this was muted 6 months ago, basically using them as a feeder club, so there is some mileage it this by the sound of it.
Sounds as if a similar outcome is going to happen, seems odd they didn't revise who was involved and remove them from the consortium.
I don't quiet read it like that, as part of the fit and proper test this question mark over the investors came up and it was thrown out before they even checked on the Dai's eligibility to pass the director/owners test.
You couldn't buy City AND Ferriby, you can't own more than one club in England. Apparently Chien Lee has had a bid for Boro rejected.
So that's where the extra £30m asking price comes from. If I was a foreign investor I'd ignore City and just spend the £30m on Ferriby.
Next they'll be adding in Anlaby Road flyover and Castle Street pedestrian crossing as a part of the deal. What a pair of clusterfucks.
The Dais might have their bid for Reading rejected, as a result of failing the Fit and Proper Person test with us previously... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...eading-s-Chinese-takeover-verge-collapse.html
Alex Jarvis who favourited the tweet is the broker who's been involved with one or more of the chinese bids. Looks to add some substance to the rumour, although as others have pointed out I don't see how a new owner could own two football clubs in England.
Very interesting. Nice to see George Bell, one of Allam's most ardent supporters in the past, has finally seen the light.
