We've just had two of those so called easier games and have 0 points and have conceded 8 goals. Things are not getting better any time soon unless the takeover is completed.
At this stage Sydney its **** all to do with the takeover. That is not influencing the way we are performing or being managed. Between now and January even in the event of a takeover we have what 10 games during which time our season could well and truly be over. This is about personnel. Boro got a point at Arsenal yesterday, the manager got a reaction from his players after last week. Burnley fought for 90 minutes plus against a top 6 team yesterday and won. We have laid down and been ****ed for 4 games now, no reaction from the players, or the manager. Nothing to do with who's in charge at the top of the club. The teams Ive mentioned, others in the bottom third and us have to work with what we have. The others are getting more out of their teams than we are. END OF!!!!!
Yeah they were separate points. I was suggesting that the takeover would lift the mood and would improve things, but his point about easy games coming up is silly when we've just lost two of them.
Hmmmmm.......I wonder if we can start a campaign started to have Hull Uni strip him of his honorary doctorate ?? Public pressure worked with Mr Phillip Green if Parliament get their way !!
David Burns @bbcburnsy I'm told @NewCityCapital group is now preferred bidder for @hullcity. I'm told no longer any Paul Duffen involvement with them. #hcafc
By preffered bidder, do they mean person they want to squeeze the most coin from? Is it the bloke who owns Nice?
As I hadn't heard much recently regarding the Chinese/HK consortium Camsing that reportedly had offered 130 mill. to takeover Hull City I decided to check on them with an old HK-based friend, Gillem Tulloch, who heads the leading accounting research firm in the Far Eastern region which provides detailed analyses of companies throughout the Far East and India. http://www.gmtresearch.com I wrote... Hi Gillem Although I am retired I continue to take a close interest on developments in China's economy in particular, as it is now over 10 years since I started referring to it as a massive Ponzi scheme in my reports and warning my clients about the investment risks in that market. When Malcolm Tulloch and I visited with you in HK back in 2010 I found that our views were very much in agreement and in the years since events have corroborated our mutual concerns. However today I am writing to ask your advice on a somewhat different subject. For the past 70 years I have been an avid soccer fan and supporter of my home town club, Hull City, who are in England's Premier League. Today the BBC have announced that our owners are in discussions for the sale of the club to a HK-based consortium, led by Camsing Global and Greater China Professional Services Ltd, for 130 million pounds. Are you familiar with these people, and if so I would be very interested in your opinion on them.? From what I have read they appear to be an unlikely group of potential owners for a British soccer team and thinly capitalized. Here is Camsings website. What do you think?? Any comments, however brief, would be much appreciated. http://www.camsing.com/en/team.asp Gillem's answer was not encouraging... Roger, How nice to hear from you. I’m afraid that neither I nor anyone in our office have heard of these companies. However, the Chinese seem to have found a recent appetite for UK football teams. I can almost feel your pain! Business has gone well after a slight hiccup two years back when we had to split with Dr Jim. Things seem to have settled down now after a few tense years. The family are all well and we’re enjoying life. China continues to go from crazy to just plain bonkers. I still can’t believe that it’s still going. Gillem After looking at New City Capitals website I also find it hard to get enthusiastic about these people as our new owners. Or am I looking at the wrong group? http://newcity-capital.com/team
