It's dropped by an average of 420 per season over the previous season, had that remained the case, it would now have been 23k, not 21k. All of which is academic, as it only dropped in the past couple of seasons due to the twattery of the owners.
The Allams are only conveniently part of the picture. APATHY amongst our newly found ranks is without doubt THE No1 factor why we cannot sell out at home and take so few away from home. You know who you are.. Phelan IN
I bet you it doesn't DD - I would hazard a guess that the membership scheme has driven away far more than the Allams ever did. I know some will return once the Allams have gone but I'll continue to just do aways - I might return once the club restores concessions for our future supporters and gives us the chance to pay for a season ticket in a one off like previously. I've found after a season and a half I don't miss the KC one bit, I can find far more pleasurable ways of spending a saturday afternoon than listening to the whinging, negative ****s who seem to inhabit vast swathes of the KC.
True, but i'm assuming the new owners would scrap the membership scheme instantly because no-one else but the allams would be braindead enough to persist with it when it's clearly been a catastrophic failure.
I hope you're right DD, I think it's dangerous to assume that will happen though - scrapping it mid-season could have all kinds of ramifications, those already paying might be out of pocket if it's suddenly scrapped, those displaced from seats they've had for years might want to be back in them ....... returning to how it was might not be easy.
I doubt that the membership scheme will be changed this season and even next there may only be small adjustments to it. Concession prices may not be applied throughout the whole stadium for instance. The South Stand and parts of the West Stand may be the only areas that have any form of concessions available.
