Waggy protested against the worst City owner : Lloyd. Fair play. Now, with the Allams, they're not as bad as Lloyd. So anyone who protests against them is equally to blame for the situation. I find it staggering that someone who valiantly protested against one awful regime can then equally blame his fellow fans for a current awful regime. Although the words 'Premier' and 'League' might have summat to do with it.
Really? All of it, really? I said they shot themselves in the foot by doing something good, not something pioneering. Can you give me a selection of your best myriad reasons? You might find marketing touches many in their day jobs. But hey, let's just bin it because they did it. Na'then, about that pettiness.
I don't normally rise to the bait but you are bang out of order with those comments. Either justify the "lies" statement or withdraw it. Just because I disagree with you doesn't give you the right to talk crap like that.
Everything that comes out of your user code is fictional bullshit designed by your sad and lonely mind.
You have no idea why the name was chosen as you wasn't there when the committee discussed what to call ourselves. I suppose you think singing our version of she's coming around the mountain was also disrespectful?
I find it very sad that a so called moderator can make a defamatory comment and then fail to either justify it or withdraw it. Who moderates the moderators?
At a stab, looking at this post alone, I'd suggest that using the word 'everything' is a lie. Probably the word 'hostilities' as well. What has been hostile from the protest group? If they don't protest how do they effect the owners? Answer that and add something tangible to your argument...
I'm not going to debate anything with some soppy twat who thinks calling an organisation City Till We Die is confrontational. I've moved on to take the piss mode now.
You may have some experience in this area, but was your experience in a market with the huge benefit of Premier League positioning and global promotion? Nationally is where you start and, as you say, we are well recognised. Internationally needs a broad strategy, not just a badge; it is ridiculous to discuss it in isolation. The real driver here is that it came in under the Allams and that is the same level of pettiness they inflicted on supporters. The marketing angle needs more consideration than you and others are giving it.
