I was thinking more Livermore is taking on the Mascherano role of being a midfielder converted to start possession from the back.

 

Redknapp was raving about Livermore on MOTD2 - Say's he could see his long term future as a CH.

 

Well we're 2 games in and all good so far but he's faced a misfiring Vardy and a new to the EPL Lorente. If we can still say this after facing Ibra on Saturday then it's certainly something for him to consider. He's built for it!

 

It'll be a shut out he should be able to match the physicality of Ibrahimovic if nothing else.

Let's just suppose that the name change had gone through as proposed and there had been no confrontational protesting - maybe things wouldn't have escalated to the current bitterness seen on both sides?

If there's any issue with our fanbase, it's the lily-livered ****s who accept anything and criticise those doing something about it.

 

Calling people who share the goal, but perhaps have a differing view on achieving it 'lily livered' is hardley a way of promoting unity or encouraging fan involvement.

 

He's clearly directing at people who don't share the goal, because he mentioned people 'willing to accept anything'.

 

A chant about his Black and Amber Phallus would at least be unique....and the opposition would like it up 'em.

By waggy's logic if no one had protested against Lloyd there would have been no problems.

 

Lets just suppose the owners had reflected on the FA Council's decision and invited CTWD, the OSC and the other groups to discuss how to make the most of our Europa League campaign and building the club. What a difference in atmosphere there would have been.

However, dreams are just that dreams. The FA chucked out the name change twice and our owners responded in the same way they did to Hull City Council saying no.

 

I agree with you. If both parties had shown a willingness to talk rather than confront each other then the outcome could have been very different. Just a dream now, I agree.
