Seems to do that a lot. Comes in to handle a sale, leaves once new owners get their feet under the table.
At that early press conference when they first took over, there was some weird exchange about him being described as the "interim CEO" or something similar and he joked that he hopes that isn't the case. Seemed odd at the time.
Nothing in it at all. He knew all along that he had a six month contract. His last weeks work was spent in Turkey and Malaga with the team.
With all the sportswashing, debt ridden and all in all scummy owners around its amazing to think we have an owner who owns a football club... Because he loves football! I know owners come and go but he's a relatively young man and I can't see him ever leaving us of his own volition and with all the visits etc he seems to generally like (I won't say love) the city. Probably because every time he turns up he's treated like a king!
I agree, from what I've seen of him so far he is hugely enthusiastic about his project, and totally transparent, what a bloody change from the previous incumbents. Even better his girlfriend/ wife seems totally invested as well. Its such a refreshing change to actually see someone at the helm who genuinely appears 100% invested in his club.
I never realised it until now but I really LOVE sausage rolls. I just can’t decide who’s are the best.
When my sister was about 5, she brought a picture that she'd drawn of a cow home from school. She had labelled it head, tail, legs and tits. It was a source of great amusement.
