The new north stand kop is only 4 sections, now if E1 to E3 start a song it has the potential to spread right along the east stand.
The fact people could afford mulitple passes is testament to their affordability. Try doing that at Arsenal as an extreme example. And will you please get this subsidising thing out of your head. Go to any ground in the country and it costs more on the half way line than behind the goal, so if anyone has been subsidising anyone (which I don't believe they have) it's the south stand.
You could well be right, but I guess they are taking a risk, but feel maybe in time it can start to generate a more rounded atmosphere. The South stand interest me, I just wonder with it being cheaper whether this might start to generate more noise, but I guess TWT.
I think this is the key issue really. The club have said it was consulted on as part of those meetings with the fan groups that happened pre-match a few weeks ago. The fan groups never mentioned it at the time and as far as I'm aware the trust have only said that the possibility of the move was included in their survey. I do vaguely remember the question but it certainly wasn't made clear that this was a potential change being seriously discussed at club level. I think by consulting supporter groups the club have mostly done their bit. If they've been told by the trust that the fans will love it then I can't really blame them for believing it. I'm a little bit disappointed in the trust though for remaining so quiet on this until it's already set in stone. In reality, no one got chance to have their say on the proposal.
Let’s face it it’s been a f’ck up from start to finish. By all accounts Adam Pearson originally wanted the old Kempton lads to regroup into the South Stand simply because of the clubhouse being situated in that area. As things unfolded back then the cheaper KC East Stand attracted many ex Fer ark West and South standers and in doing so the Kempton massive where scattered. In a nutshell and despite his then popularity Pearson never realised many Kempton lads wanted to recreate the side view it had at Fer ark and many ex old school lads suddenly found themselves sat next to scarfers and the older flask brigade.
I just hope that his obvious interest in Miami basketball doesn't give him the idea that Cheerleaders would be a good way of drumming the crowd up.
Who exactly is being **** on? If you sit in the south or north, you're paying less than last year. As long as you don't sit on the half way line you're paying the same too. If you sit on the half way line but can't afford the extra £5, then you can move and either pay the same or less. And all u10s are completely free, regardless of where you sit. The ticket prices seem like a long term plan as I suspect we'll see more u10s than ever next year
If a family of 4 are coming to football, weekly, I would suggest that the term " hardship" isn't applicable to them.
