That would infuriate me too Den.If I complain about something I expect some kind of response, favourable or not!!
The fact that Waggy went and bought the kit like anyone else and didn't try and pull strings behind the scenes to get one for nowt says everything about him. I expect the shop policy is an old one from the old owners and well down on the list of priorities to sort out, but maybe the publicity will get it remedied a bit quicker!
The shop on the other hand I've always found to be friendly and helpful, even under the previous regime
As the saying goes, "only boring people get bored". Some truth in that. Anyway, must crack on, lots to do
What was funnier was that (it looked to me like) Pennock thought Shots was looking up at something in West Upper rather than looking to the heavens. Hence his little explanation to him!!
I think the quote is Waggy taking the mick. I'd guess no-one in the shop knows who Ken Wagstaff is. When did he last play for City ? 48 years ago ?
I do nope that the new regime follow through on the idea of some statues of Chillo and Waggy and others outside the stadium... Acun seems to be someone who never forgets how roots, I hope he understands does of the history as well as his vision for the future...

@The Omega Man will find this of interest I'm sure, three directors indeed, could be a potential reason it took a bit longer to clear the Owner's and Director's Test.
She is the CEO of Acun Medya. Interesting that the parent company is noted as a Dutch entity (ACM Sports B.V.)
This is the history of SUPERSTADIUM HOLDINGS LIMITED which is the controlling company (100% shares) of SUPERSTADIUM MANAGEMENT COMPANY LIMITED, even though the gruesome twosome are still listed as directors of the latter, at least at the moment. (What a complicated mess, as expected of the SMC)
