1 person claimed that. Ht2 said that he would wait for the official announcement but it was to intents and purposes done. The rest of us just passed on what had been passed to us which was 'done deal'.

A reminder again that some years ago the Allams ( you know the ones who are actually selling the club) were so sure the deal was done that they wrote their fond farewells in the program. That deal fell through and that folks is why I am so insistent that the deal is not done until the official announcement is made. Anything could happen and it has in the past.
It wasn't at this point back then. The Dai's couldn't submit the paperwork for their shareholders to the Premier League. Ilicali has been in contact with the EFL via David Dein AND Rodwell as intermediaries working on these submissions since the deal between he and the Allams was agreed.

Some were wrong. They are damned if they admit it though. Their untrustworthy sources either deliberately fed them ****, they made it up or things changed. Unfortunately having been informed by the ITK crowd that it was signed sealed & delivery was immanent (Bristol City) we can deduce that things didn’t change it was just duff info from them meaning they were either misinformed or they misinformed. I’d swing with them being deliberately misled by their sly untrustworthy sources. They just need to come clean & admit they were wrong. Mouldy Orange seems hell bent on being involved like a snivelling brown noser & comes across as embarrassing. SW is 100% correct. The ones dragging it out are those who keep company with unprincipled shifty sources who can’t come to terms with, & admit, the fact they may have been duped.
