“Would have” can be used in the conditional form of sentences or if-clause, past tense of infinitive form, future perfect tense or as verb phrase, while “would of” can be used when you are constructing a sentence with poor grammar. Mind you I personally would never point out another posters poor grammar. Only a prick would do that......

I would hope that when the share swap is submitted the club would make an announcement "pending EFL approval" or whatever. Surely?? Which would mean an announcement today.
