https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/59756997.amp Hull City (19th) - 'Possible mid-table marvels' David Burns, BBC Radio Humberside Hull City have gone from looking like relegation fodder to possible mid-table marvels. I think the injury-forced abandonment of the 'club philosophy' 4-3-3 - to a system based on a three-man defence - has been the big factor. They've looked more robust. The return of George Honeyman, last season's player of the year, has also helped. As for the future, much will depend on potential new owner Acun Ilicali, a Turkish media mogul. Hull boss McCann isolating with Covid-19 He's the man who brought Deal or No Deal to Turkey and his arrival would put a question mark over manager Grant McCann's future, with at least one possible replacement being touted. As for his first investment, a couple of strikers would be a start. But even without them, Hull should stay up. I just hope this delay is not the Allam's doing an Allam's, and because KLP's stock seems to be rising, they are moving the goalposts and are upping the anti!

Duh. I know what the word means, I asked something specific. These days the term "Festive" is always used, whereas before the term "Christmas" was always used. eg nowadays: Festive football fixtures in the past: Christmas football fixtures.
The games up. The Allams can take 12 million for KLP and they’ll be left with a club with little/no remaining assets and likely in League 1 making it an even less attractive option. If they do intentionally scupper it, it would go to prove it is all about spite.
Presumably, so as not to refer to the Christian Feast of Christmas and emphasise the fact it's a secular holiday and thereby not offend non Christians. Not that I give a ****.
