Would also have hoped as soon as the deal appeared a certainty he would transfer a chunk of the funds to the pound.
If it's that easy, not forgetting 'they know nothing about football' why don't you pitch in and gamble your cash ?
Plus everyone forgets that Hull City are not their prime business interest. Allam Marine makes the money.
Fair play to grant. I’ve called for him to be sacked. But getting 3in arow in these circumstances must mean they are playing for him Means acun have a problem …..
Yeah raised this last week on everyone's favourite podcast - if we go out and beat Milwall on the weekend now, what do we do?
Do you think that their involvement with Hull City could be a factor ? I fail to see why there is so much hatred. They took a gamble on the club when we were desperate when no-one else would. If they have made a few bob then good luck to them, because no-one would have given a toss if they had lost everything. I posted weeks ago that we have had the best of times and the worst of times under their ownership but the club is in good shape and because of their ownership, could have been better, and it could have been a lot worse but it looks, barring a disaster, that we will have new faces in the Directors Box soon. New owners and a new regime. There is nothing to be gained by continuing to fight old battles and keep bearing old grudges.
Even 4 points from the next 2 would be a bit of a cunundrum for the new guy. Can we sack Darno instead and bring in Shota as DOF?
Then you're probably as bitter, egotistical and stubborn as they are. They're history. Wave them goodbye and get on with the future.
After all the interest they've taken on their 'gift' it would show how bad businessmen they are if they manage to come away with a loss, coupled with the asset stripping for the last few years it would be unthinkable that they wouldn't have done well out of it.
They'll have protected their asset. But the final reckoning up will result in far less profit for the Allams than is being touted. **** at football? Yes. Spawn of Satan? No.
You're right, and some of the hatred aimed at them is over the top. People love their football club though, and after years of lies and deceit from the old man and his daft lad they've simply had enough. After two trips to the premier league and all the interest they've had on their gift (I keep going back to the gift issue because for me that was the most underhanded thing the old man did) they should have been laughing all the way to the bank. If for some reason they're not, then they really have ****ed it up royally.
The most underhanded thing he did was a bit of hyperbole about the nature of their purchase? I can think of worse things that he did. It's why I think Chazz said Acun will be hanged by his words regarding the purchase of the club being about success not profit, as if that means he isn't allowed to make a cent or else it's a lie. Clearly the priority is success, but if money is made as well, he's not going to intentionally not make any just because of an excited statement in the lead up to taking over. Why do people need to take these interviews so literally and then get so wound up by it?
I wouldn't be surprised if Allam Marine is also sold, it was making profits of £20m when he bought City, last year it was down to £1.8m and he knows Ehab isn't up to running it.
