The new improved (?) not606 site is in the process of being beta-tested and members are welcome to have a look at it. The link below takes you to a thread on the Horse Racing board where Ron, one of the techies helping Mick to build the site, has posted an explanation for the move: http://beta.not606.com/threads/the-reasoning-behind-the-move.279889/#post-7164286 Feel free to explore the site, you can log in as normal and post if you want to, but remember that when the site is updated periodically by copying the live site across, anything you have posted on the new site will be lost. You will also notice the presence of Google robots on the site, which is a bit disturbing. There are obviously differences in the appearance of the site which we will get used to, but there are a few functional changes as well. One example is that Xenforo, the template for the new site, does not support the Rep function. Please comment below and I and the other mods will pass your thoughts on to those building the site.
Was we supposed to read it? I just clicked the buttons. Bound to be some teething troubles, but it seems okay to me.
Slightly OT. But I got a new Android phone and for some reason I can't actually get Hull City forum. It just shows the latest threads from the whole Not 606 board.
Sorry I should of said it's on the Android Not 606 app. Didn't have any problems on my old Android phone.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that the not606 app's now defunct. Give us five and I'll see if I can find it.
i just tried to log in on there and its saying the password is incorrect even though i have just signed in here using the same password any ideas why its not working?
That's weird. I've just re logged in and it seems fine now. I know it's really hard work making Android apps pay like Apple.
Can you ask if there can be an option for phones and tablets to switch to desktop mode? Mobile sites boil my piss sometimes, and although that one looks quite sleek, i hate it.
I can't sign in, I just get error. Looks slightly OTT to me. But then again, it's just getting used to things I suppose.
Looks nice functionality wise. I like the icon for a thread starter and a mini iv9n of your own if you've posted in a thread. Certainly feels nicer on my phone than this one.
