New / Next Manager Feb 2022

Few of the ITK's have been very quiet apart from @Prehab26 Is this because the club have "found" the leaks. I just wish it could be categorically determined one way or the other - we are rudderless, without leaders on the pitch, no manager and in a shocking run of form. We need something very quickly or this season will be the dampest of squibs. I try to remain optimistic but the last two home games/Bolton game have kicked the life out of me and I am teetering on pessimism

 

Maybe it's because there is nothing new to say

 

They can only tell us things when they hear anything, unless you want them to make up things to appease people

aye it sounds like Sunderland want Keane, agreements have been made and the formalities just need to be done now. Probably doesn’t help that Keane has his tv responsibilities to sort first mind

 

If Prehab says it’s done then I believe him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s just fulfilling obligations with ITV and will be announced later.

Sounds childish but if we **** this up and appoint a McCann or a Lennon, I’m done.

We do but I suspect most of those bits are already here, in the form of Huggins, McGeady, Broadhead, O'Nien, etc ...

... any team in this league would want them in their team tbh.

 

This is a major factor from what I've been told.

The TV has put a lot of money in his pocket, over many seasons, and he has to negotiate his departure as well as his arrangements at Sunderland.

If he'd laughed it up, on Friday, and said he was off the show would've been farce and neither set of fans would've been too pleased.

There's a lot more to these things than 'See you lads, I'm off to Sunderland' ...

... he may wish to go back to TV, at some point, so can't just burn all his bridges.

 

Any whispers on who Keane will be bringing in with him? Tony Loughlan was his assistant last time but I believe he is at Burnley with Dyche.

plus he might want to make a few appearances come the winter break in December

 

some over the road are saying there is rumours about Andy Reid and Steve Guppy

 

I read somewhere that he left Burnley following major surgery? Not sure how true like.
