"Former Dutch international Gullit, 51, and the ex-England duo of Neville and Ferdinand will be part of a team which will also include Alan Shearer, Robbie Savage and Danny Murphy." Well that's going to be terrible, but at least Five live has some good pundits and analysts to listen to instead... "an expanded role for ex-Wigan, Blackburn Rovers and Reading striker Jason Roberts"
5 lives great, love listening to games on there (ours I watch in the pub) 5 live pisses all over Talksports games
Presume that's garry NevillE? He's not that bad. And actually Ferdinand was an OK pundit at the world cup. Meh to the others though, although Shearer has improved a tad - but listening to him is still a chore
Er, no. It's Phil Neville. You know, the one who was more dull and monotone than Owen during the World Cup? Yup
i normally record motd and fast forward through the waffle analysis anyway. so makes no dif to me how depressing the line up may be lol
Next tonight on BBC One after the news, you can catch up on all the days football action and develop a brain aneurism at the same time in "Who Sounds the most boring?". Shearer was bad enough, but now we have the lesser (player and pundit) Neville and Rio. Are there no semi-articulate ex footballers out there, or was Hansen the last?
I never mentioned Lawro, he is dreadful. Hansen however, has always been a class pundit. May not have been the the most likable, but had more charisma than dog ****. Unlike some recently announced MotD new employees.
Not enough Liverpool pundits. Definitely further signs of an anti-Liverpool agenda. Why couldn't they have given Jason McAteer and Dominic Matteo a chance?
phil neville is the dullest form of turd... sorry but nothing against his limited footballing talent or poor career or anything but as a human being and after that... a pundit.. he's just awful. I'd rather listen to tobes **** all over stones.....
To be fair, that can't really be applied to Savage. Not that his voice is much more pleasant to listen to than the others.... From what I saw of rio in the WC, I didn't mind him too much tbh. Neville though... Murphy's hardly the greatest either. They had the odd interesting guest pundit on last season, hopefully that will continue.
Would rather listen to the sound of a cement mixer being broadcast than the utter sham that is talkshite And the new MOTD line up is a disaster zone, just broadcast extended highlights of the games with commentary bbc... I can get ten times better analysis on youtube off 'amateurs' than these supposed 'professional' experts who have all the lexical ability of a boulder
FFS Phil Neville and Rio Ferdinand?! What the **** are the Beeb thinking!? I alwasy liked Hansen, he had charisma and even when he was talking bollocks he made it sounds interesting. And he called a spade a spade. Shearer is slowly getting better, he was dull as f**k at first but he is (slowly) improving. Phill Neville is the punditry equivalent of Valium, and Rio Ferdinand, just the look of the camel faced retard makes me want to stamp on his head, and thats before he opens his mouth with whatever stupid, racist, misguided bullshit farts into his brain.
A bit off topic. But Sol Cambell is getting on my tits. Someone needs to give him a slap and tell him to get a grip
