New Mod Vacancy

I have decided I wish to give up being a moderator but we need someone in place to keep an eye on things untill CJS (hopefully) returns.

Anyone out there wish to become a mod for the Rovers board?

I'm thinking possibly, Pirate49, Bluebaldee or Chris

a)I'm going on holiday soon.

b) I **** about far too much to be trusted with this role (will probably get banned before christmas)

But mostly

c) I want to concentrate on wumming the **** out of the ****heads when the new season starts

I concur. I really am a total **** and couldn't be trusted with a pencil, let alone a moderators role.

I also hate responsibility and any kind of work. So that's me out.

Pirate is an excellent choice who would add a certain amount of gravitas to the role.

I'm a bit Ol' Skool in that.........
-as a parent and also one who has had a lot to do with the education of
young children I'm very aware that this forum is open access. As such
any youngster with an interest in sport might 'stumble' across it. Therefore
there's sometimes stuff on here which worries me but which I know is generally
accepted by most.
-I'm a technophobe. I can do my contributions here but ask me about avatars,
signatures, attachments to e-mails and all that other stuff then I'm completely lost!

Luddite......but I thought I'd let you know!

You are the most level headed and knowlegable poster on the Bristol forums and you'll make a great Mod. To be honest it's no different from what you do now only that you have the power to remove/delete threads and there is a separate Mod forum where you can ask freely for advice, they're a decent bunch.

I've only deleated 3 threads and 2 comments since I've been mod and 3 of those were accidental playing with the tools

Give it a go and if you don't like it I'll take back over
