Hi All I'm a newbie. Been a City fan for close on 40 years, first game I can remember and I like to think the first game I saw was Joe Royle scoring 4 goals on his debut against Middlesbro in 1977. Been a Downs footballer for many years and anyone familiar with The Downs league will understand my user name. I played for Sneyd Park first team just once. It was the peak of my playing career and in the same team were Gloucester cricketers Tony Brown and the recently passed on David Allen. They must have been very hard up for players to have picked me. I predate your first game by some twenty seven years but still get a real buzz beginning every Friday morning before Saturday, even though we've had several years of ****. And clearly remember Joe's four goal debut and also when he was a member of the Everton side who murdered us in a League Cup tie circa 1967/69.

I did the same thing RR and was a bit embarrassed that I forgot to read the posting date. However, we are all concerned that we haven't heard from hawk for quite some time and hope he is OK and will join us again soon - anyone know his situation?
