Might I suggest Rosenior might interest some mid-table type Championship
team looking to progress ?
That's way more likely imo then a promotion chasing team. But with the way managerial appointments are going.....who knows

I'd have loved a few 1-0 wins at home. Not being greedy but had he managed even only say 3 or 4 since the turn of the year we'd have been in the play offs and then who knows what might have happened. Instead our form was shocking.Yes when they Analyse things i doubt they will see Rosie took us to 15th away from relegation then improved to 7th place only just missing out on the playoffs but still up there trying against all the expected strong teams that were there and they will probably come to the conclusion if he had been giving more time like he was promised in the 3 year plan he would or could have completed the expectations they were hoping for.
You see these other clubs are probably not worried about winning just 1-0 or Drawing and they would rather not have an exciting 4-3 loss they probably rather have the end result.
That's not all it is but this discussion has been had a thousand times.LR has potential, but that's all it is. He "talks the talk" and he managed to find a way to grind out results last year on a limited budget, but he's achieved nothing of note as a manager yet - unlike McKenna who has a similar number of years experience and already has 2 promotions on his CV.
IMO, he needs the club he thought he was joining with us; somewhere the owner considers it a project and is willing to give him the time to develop. Not somewhere he'll get the fed to the lions if he fails to entertain the emperor.
Sort of agree but tbf from day one he promised high energy high tempo exciting, attacking football. Last summer he very clearly promised again that it was coming. But it didn't, and what we repeatedly got was pretty much the opposite, other than in very rare glimpses.LR has potential, but that's all it is. Btw, the owner was clear he wants success (to win) and that attacking football brings more excitement, enjoyment and chance of success ("you have to score goals to win"). He didn't say he wants us to keep losing 3-4, although for some reason a handful choose to misquote what he was saying.

Taken out of context. It was crystal clear what he's been saying (unless some have a weird agenda against him)You're right he said,
"I would rather lose 3-2 than have a boring 0-0.8 May 2024

I'm sure those other clubs would be absolutely overjoyed to have the same home form we had and also to have 3 wins in the last 13 games when pushing for promotion.
He'll absolutely get another job and it will definitely be deserved, but he needs to learn from his time here, listen to people around him, learn not to stifle talent but over coaching and gain so attacking confidence. Promotion chasing teams don't want a manger who would rather not lose as oppose to really go for a win.
We all understand his stated reasoning. Whether it was the correct decision or not will be proven in hindsight.Whether you agree with the decision or not, it really isn't difficult to understand where Acun is coming from, what he's been saying, and why he pulled the plug on Rosenior part way through 'the project'.
If you can't, or choose not to understand (probably the latter) then there's no point discussing.
Personally, I thought LR under delivered last season, but if it was a choice between LR and some random fella from Germany who seems slightly bonkers. I think I'd have stuck with LR.
A large amount of faith's being put in Acun getting this right.
