It was the goal Allsop conceded against Watford when he was lobbed from the half way line that kicked this off. Acun simply asked Rosenior why he isnt giving Pandur a chance. Also the effect on the players confidence was an issue with Acun, who had persueded these players to come in the first place then had to answer questions why they were sat in the stands on a matchday.

Hopefully he has told his factory how to make striped sublimated shirts properly after reading the Kappa thread last year. I saw Pelkas play for Greece. Scored one and got MOM. Not sure he was that bad, like most foreign players, bags of talent but lack physicality for the Championship.
Acun needs to understand that if he signs a player and they don’t cut it, the manager probably isn’t going to pick them. Not all signings are going to work out. Unfortunately for Acun, he needs to learn to swallow his pride and not air his grievances at a special ticketed event next time.

I think Acun’s main issue seems to be his need to be loved by everyone at all times equally. He sacked Rosenior for his reasons. It was a controversial decision and unpopular with many supporters who thought Rosenior deserved another season at least to build on what we did this year. Supporters complained and said it was a mistake. Fair enough. Then they started to complain that the club was being quiet about the issue. Then they didn’t like Acun’s explanation of Rosenior’s style of play being the main reason he sacked him. A lot don’t like his comments tonight, myself included, as they came across quite unprofessional. If Acun sent Tan tonight to face the music and answer questions instead of himself, I’m sure some people would call him a ****house for hiding and making Tan do his dirty work.

Remember Acuns point about Messi. Liam would have him chasing down defenders over dribbling his way through defenders. We didn’t necessarily see the best of some players because they were asked to take on roles that weren’t necessarily their strengths.
