The thing is, we all know Allsop as a keeper but we have no idea what he's like as a person. If he's a good lad and a popular member of the squad, that's just complete stupidity.

Linguistically naive. Could have made his point without spelling it out and using specific examples. We'd have known who he was talking about highlighting situations without naming names.

I'm not going to disagree it was brave, but it was also foolish.

What did we learn tonight that we didn't already know? We already knew that Rosie left because they didn't agree on the way the team played.

But now we know he really didn't like the performances of Allsopp, wasn't impressed by the fitness of Connolly and he thinks we should always play a striker at home.

Did we really need that extra detail? Is that good or bad for future team morale? There's honesty and then there's honesty.

Facts though....Allsop is ****, Connolly was fat, and we should be playing strikers in all games, not just at home!

Great session and refreshing to hear the Owner say what he really thinks.
Unfortunately we live in a world full of snowflakes who worry about what others might think, or who might be offended.

Culturally Turkey are obviously behind the curve on this one.
Different world over there and across Europe. Just taken as part of the game whereas here you've got people "within the game" already expressing concern

It’s safe to say Acun has bottled a lot up over the course of the season.

Positives:

He’s talked a lot of sense.

He is willing to be open and honest with the fans.

Negatives:

It is unprofessional to talk about players who are still under contract.

Summary:

F*ck the Euros. This is the best entertainment we’re likely to get this summer. UTT.

Sounds like a script for 'Lost in Translation'.

Wouldn't be the first time a player has been dug out for being overweight and he accepted Ozan was when he first arrived, so I think he was being overly candid not deliberately offensive - And Connollys gone to all intents and purposes.

Also re: Allsop he wasn't really saying he's ****, just that when he was struggling he wouldn't drop him with Pandur waiting and then he went from the bench completely, though I wouldn't be at all surprised if Allsop has been deemed too high risk/unpopular to keep around.

So on a forum that’s predominantly rumour and opinion and fact cloaked as rumour , we now complain that the owner ratifies most of what’s on here - and you worry that the players read it - they probably did anyway . We can’t have it both ways , he’s a little too honest at times probably because he’s a fan too . Not just a sit in the box owner unheard .
most of us have now got the inside info from the horses mouth not the ITK’s or taxi drivers .

Allsop has had some good performances this season. He is comfortable with his feet and suits the new managers style of play. He might have been the ideal number two next season as Ingram doesn’t fit the bill.

Now we’re looking for 2 keepers thanks to Acun’s comments.
