AGREED. The club has taken too many softcock options over the years for my liking. We need a complete **** to turn this around - I'm sick of hearing what a nice blokes McInnes and Millen were. This is business for ****s sake, not a charity.

Everyone and his dog is using the power of hindsight to say that DM was a big gamble due to
having no Championship experience. Something many of us said when he was appointed.
I think the Board will knee-jerk into deciding they MUST have someone with experience
at this level this time round. They don't have the balls to make another risky decision as
they will get slaughtered. So I think you can rule out the likes of Tisdale and Bowen who
bizarrely is favourite with the bookies at the moment. I have no confidence in the Board
based on previous decisions but they 've put themselves in a very tough position now.
We all know he should have gone at least a month ago, when offeing a new manager
a few weeks to assess the squad then the Jan window might have been fairly
attractive. I'm not sure SOD will want the job. Hope we don't end up with Coyle as
he would be very similar to Del....come on Leeds - sack Warnock PLEASE!!!!

The beautiful game, with the same recycled load of arse. Why can't people understand how simple it is? If we loan a player from a club in the same division as us who aren't setting the league alight, why do we want that player at our club, when he is clearly not good enough for this league?

The same for managers. Why do we want the same ass clown in charge of the biggest bunch of wasters I have seen for years at Ashton Gate who has been sacked time and time again from other clubs not much better than ours in the same league? SOD, Mark Robins, Billy Davies. These names want to make me stop supporting this club. All of them have failed, one of them dismally at a club in the same situation as us year in year out, the other two have spent absolute fortunes, far more than any manager we have EVER had at this club. Fortunes on crap as bad as them, and they have STILL failed atrociously.

SOD and his beautiful football is a total myth, if it was that good, and it worked, Doncaster wouldnt have been relegated large due to him, and Billy Davies wouldn't have been the manager of the team with the worst point total in Premier League football after again, nyon crippling the club with money spent.

I'd rather have Di Canio, someone with some actual passion for the game, passion for winning and succeeding and not happy treading water. He clearly accepts nothing less from the players he has either, and I wouldn't mind being 12th year in year out, as long as we showed some damn fight, which I haven't seen in 4 years at this club!

None of the names being touted are inspiring me. They're largely a bunch of **** managers who are out of work for a reason. I'd like to see Roy Keane, mainly because I think he wouldn't take **** from the board or the players.

What I'd love to see is the board take a chance on someone from mainland Europe, someone with a real appreciation for the technical side of the game and someone that would want to put their stamp on the club. I think that is what the board tried with McInnes, but trying to find luck north of the border is like trying to find gourmet food in a dustbin.

Gary Megson. Take a read of his wikipedia page and then make up your mind. He is tough and no nonsense. Treats the players like schoolchildren. And has had success (mostly) in his jobs, especially in the Championship. Loads of experience and will bring in players, especially at the back where we need them.

I think though he would be too hard to mould by the Directors, so they will bottle it and bring in another nice guy.
