Announcement of manager coming as soon as the McCammon conclusion is published so as to distract attention from it.
 
The McCammongate tribunal is not likely to announce the outcome for a little while, so in that case the managerial announcement will be at least another week ,if that is what Scally is waiting for.
 
We better have a manager by next week, pre season is so close and the manager is going to have no time to look over his squad before hand otherwise, this is not good enough now.
 
scally has said in the kent messenger that the court case is hampering the process of installing a new manager and it will probably go to the wire of when the players comeback for training(5th july)...i still say 2nd-3rd july !

lets hope it's been worth the wait, because as you say hoadie, he doesn't have long to work with the team and add to it <doh>
 
Yeah, Pre season is normally troublesome for us as it is, but this one could be worse as the manager has only a few days to work magic to get ready it will be simply just looking at the team to see who he has got, he ain't really got time to do much homework on who to play, he may have to rely on Hessenthaler I think for tips, I have a funny feeling we will not have anyone by the first game and Hessenthaler will be in charge.

If its Hope Powell your going to have a long wait then <ok> will not be available until August.
 
Personally I think Monday will be the day and I also think a manager is already in place just needs to be announced I could be wrong but don't think I am

I thought that about 2 or so weeks ago, I just thought Scally was making us wait but that turned out to be wrong.
 
He is the back up plan, god he has always wanted to be the manager really but he knew the fans would not be happy, I thought Hessenthaler would be the back up plan, he is a better choice than Scally but hopefully there should be a manager by then.

Maybe he's using one of the frontrunners as an alias :D

Mind you, new Barnet manager Robson is still on the list along with David James so it seems every name under the sun will be on there at some point. It won't be long until Mrs Scally will be evens...
 
Yeah hopefully it will be soon, bit of a joke how long it has been, we are now near to 2 months, a month is acceptable and long enough to consider the people available but near 2 months is too long.
