I see on http://www.skybet.com/football/manager-specials that Paul Ince has moved up to 8/1 to be next manager. Also just realised that Dennis Wise is new on that list...odd...
Admittedly Liam Daish is still on there, so clearly isn't that reliable, but still... Thoughts?

I did say about Dennis Wise the other day, strange see thought what I heard was true, but I doubt he will come here, I think it may be Micky Adams this time round as he has admitted that he would like it and also Scally likes former players.

I would love to see Micky Adams at the helm. Steve Bruce wouldn't come near the place I doubt he gets out of bed for less than our annual turnover and, although a very mediocre manager, would think league 2 beneath him. If not Adams, Lee Clarke would certainly get us going. Whoever, please God let's get the ball down and play!

Look up Chris Dickson, appears to have previously been at Constantine's team? Also I have posted a link to Constantine's website today on the voting thread.

Yeah I see that this morning and thought who the **** is he, well we may know soon, wonder if anyone knows really who he is.

    http://www.kentnews.co.uk/sport/former_manager_of_malawi_in_frame_for_gillingham_job_1_1376613
I have just found this above which shows how he is in the frame, may be just some sort of fun going on Twitter, don't mean anything at the moment as sometimes the trends on Twitter are rather strange, I would rather that we went with someone who is experienced.

WTF, his references on his website.
"I am delighted to see the website of the Mr. Stephen Constantine. On behalf of the AFC family, I have pleasure to extend my best wishes to Mr. Constantine.

Over the last five years Mr Constantine has been working in Asian Countries Nepal and India and he has contributed tremendously to the development of the football in these countries.

I would like to extend my congratulations to Mr. Constantine for his achievements. The new website he has developed is illustrating his achievements and his commitments to the development of football.

My best wishes to Mr. Constantine for more success and glory in his career."

    Mohamed Bin Hammam
    President, Asian Football Confederation

To add to it I have been looking up on him and he seems to be quiet a good manager at a team which is runners up to Apoel which were in the Champions league this season, maybe he is a good manager.

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11739/7313022/Constantine-eyes-England-chance

This bit is interesting, he seems to want a job in England I also see that a fan of a Scottish club contacted him to see if he wanted the job at their club and he replied, from this above it seems he must be a brilliant manager, a tactician, maybe what we have always needed.

Constantine doesn't look too bad a choice! Definitely looks like a manager who would be amazing or diabolical....with no middle ground

See on the sky bet thing that Ian Dowie is 20/1 to get the job. I propose we all take turns patrolling the medway towns to keep him as far away from the priestfield as physically possible

Without being too fussy, he sounds very much like he doesn't really want to manage the club but just wants to get back into english football. Being picky I know but just sounds like he would jump at any chance to take a job higher up in the league :L

did anyone else think this or was it just me?

Yeah I do agree, my take on it is that he just wants a job in England, it could be anyone, just to get back here is what he wants, wonder why as he seems to be doing well, maybe he just wants to come back as he don't like it as much in other countries.

To be honest he probably does see the role as a doorway back into English football, but lets be fair it isn't the most high profile job in the world and anyone who sees it as the pinnacle of their career would be lacking ambition. Lets not fool ourselves anyone taking this job will see it as a stepping stone in their career, I think even Hess would have moved on if a bigger club came a-knocking

Just had a thought this morning but isn't Hess very close to Dennis Wise? Like best man at wedding kind of close? If Scally is looking for an extension of Hess then he might be the right call. That said in terms of tacticians it seems old Gus had the more footballing mind. I like Constantine but success elsewhere doesn't mean anything in the mud fights of league 2.

Good call Mark, Tilson took Lincoln out of this league in his first full season there.

    Oh, hang on.....

it was down into the Conference.

    No thanks.

Martin Allen is now equal favourite with Robson on Skybet. That said 3-1 still means they have no idea.
