They all get sacked eventually, unless they move on for better things. But Coopers record reads rather different to Bilic's. Play offs with Swansea. Promoted with Forest. 16th when sacked by Leicester. They'd have been very happy with that this past season!
Very decent appointment, wealth of experience at this level and at a much higher one. Scary as **** to boot. Major upgrade on Selles.
I’ve just asked Bet Victor to add odds for Bilic. 8-1. I was able to access this from my account but don’t see it on oddschecker.
Really? Check out his career stats, other than his stint as Croatian National Coach, he had a decent spell at Besiktas (probably where Acun knows him from) over 10 years ago but other than that he’s been generally below average everywhere he’s managed and consequently been sacked consistently after a relatively short period of time. Disappointing if this is the outcome. I’d rather see someone like Riera, who’s had some success, albeit at a lower standard. Experience at a level is great if you learn from it or are capable of adapting but Bilic’s career doesn’t show any signs of improvement.
Bilić’s career has been on a downward trajectory for quite a while now. Had decent spells before this decade but pretty average or poor since.
Dont agree, operated at a far higher level than us. Got a promotion on his CV and Watford is Watford they still was outside the playoffs by 4 points. 40% win percentage at West Brom and 38% at Watford isn’t bad at all, he’s also got network and clout, him and McBurnie has way more big club energy than Selles and Joseph.
Exactly they all get sacked eventually, hence why that doesn’t bear in my thinking about Bilic. His win % at all 3 English clubs is higher than manager we’ve had since Bruce.
