I don’t think he’s a poor manager/coach but I don’t think he’s particularly good either. Again, it’s looking like style over substance from Acun again. It’s just a novelty at this point.
I think his management style is more suited to international Dont think hes a good week in week out club manager Very energetic but fizzles out fast
See, I think that at the time it felt like it took ages to appoint Walter, but I checked back through here and on HDMs website and Tim Walter’s name first popped up as the favourite May 15th. Rosie was sacked May 7th. By May 17th we knew Tim was getting the job. This time around, we have no idea who it is or what’s going on, except that Riera is the favourite now. It’s roughly the same time line as last season. It just feels longer because we’re waiting for it. I do wish we’d stop doing this before we’ve identified who we want though. Seems like we do the sacking first and only then do we consider the replacement. Same with the signings actually; we were happy to let Tufan, Carvalho and Delap leave, but then had no clue how to replace them. We need to be proactive instead of reactive.
Not sure we was happy to let any of them leave but 2 were loans and 1 wanted to go back to Turkey. What should we have done
Agree. I think the excitement will wear off fast and we’ll be back to square one soon. Despite his inexperience, I’d rather have Riera.
Why? Did well with Croatian national side back in 2006-2012. But since than, at club level ......sacked, sacked, sacked, sacked, sacked ......
I was told it was practically nailed on & terms agreed but until the contract is signed anything can happen
