I think those that impress in the interview do so by showing high levels of analysis into the current squad. Where we have done well and more importantly where our deficiencies lie and how they can be addressed. There may also be some discussion around areas of the team which need bolstering. I imagine those that impress, address most if not all or all of the areas already identified by Brian’s Team.
Valid point to be fair. It's quite common if you go for a forklift job, to be asked to bring your steel toe-caps and do a couple of tasks on the truck, makes sense. I've seen a lot of companies that don't,bloke turns up on the Monday and wrecks the place. He'll have a licence, paid for by some or other department of the DWP or through a routes to work type organisation but he's got little or no experience of actually driving one.
The betting on our new manager shows that nobody has a clue. Baz has pretty much ruled out the top 5 in the betting (Muslic, Emre, Beale, Mowbray and Cleverley). Next is Cifuentes but I’ve not heard him mentioned at all and O’Neill, now favourite for the Norwich Job. After that there’s a full kit w*****
I interview a lot of people, mostly for sales manager roles, there's not really any way I can tell in one or two meetings if they can actually sell or not. Their CV will tell me about their previous experience and to some extent performance, but, what I get from an interview is mostly about personal chemistry. I only really employ people I like and who I think will get on with and fit into the rest of the team. I'm not sure if Acun cares about the personal chemistry thing as he only keeps managers for 6 months.
John Terry. From when the tit turned up on the pitch in full kit for photos in the champions league final. He was banned at the time and could not play.
Has Dean Smith been interviewed, former Brentford ,Aston Villa, Nowwich manager currently managing in the MLS.
Oh jesus anyone but fkn JT, the only bloke who orchestrated his own leaving do ! Even when he left the pitch, wnkr !
I think Alex Neil seems to be the best choice. But Dean Smith would be ok. Daft as it seems but I think Brucey would work well with Acun. I really think we need a proper championship experienced manager not a chief coach
