Selles wasn't expected to get us into the playoffs. Don't be silly. His sacking was to do with going backwards since the break, 1 (deflected) goal from open play in 8, surviving only by the skin of our teeth, quite possibly the spunking of money on Joseph, and possibly other stuff we don't know.

When Acun talks about playoffs, promotion, he is meaning that is his ambition, sooner rather than later. Simple as.

 

He wouldn’t need to walk out on us, he’d get sacked within a few months anyway.

 

Like I say I’m not debating whether he cares or not. The fact is that it’s being used to mask mistakes he makes as simple blunders rather than things he should be learning from. We’ve yet to see him correct mistakes and on occasion he’s repeated them.

Acun originally said in his presser when Selles arrived that “he wasn’t worried about relegation”. He subsequently said to Mike White on Saturday he expected to be mid table or pushing playoffs. He didn’t specify which season but you can admittedly make the assumption either way. I don’t think it’s out the question however he’s seen Coventry appoint Lampard at roughly a similar time and seen them kick on and thought that we could’ve done the same.

 

Andy needs to go to. He is the common link between so many failed managers.

 

I was thinking more if he just moved family and got them settled. I've no idea if he has kids and if they are school age but could be an issue especially if it isn't that much more money

I read this online this morning, Dawson said this on a radio show, so it wasn't anything Baz found.

 

He certainly wasn't keen on Ruben's style of play and methods.

 

His fiddle is waaaay way out of tune then...

 

The manager merry go round is just about getting going.. I suspect we aren't rushing 'just in case'...

 

What methods did he not approve of?

 

How about owners who melt into the background with good business acumen .
