I’ve not got a link but some Turkish tv channel reckons he’s still not agreed to come to us, it’s martins all over again found it https://x.com/kayserisportv/status/1929255940961992912?s=46
Reading your post I said to myself that Syd would say the home team is second in America in his usual way as he attempts to show everyone but him were wrong. And lo and behold in the next post…
I don’t think it’s overly helpful for someone not involved in the initial conversation to jump in to back up calling someone a bellend personally.
If only we has as passionate fans behind the dugouts. They could throw their empty meal boxes if the opposition manager upset them.
I'd argue context is important. Commenting on that to disagree would make sense but to agree is probably unnecessary.
"It's expected that City's potential new boss and his incoming technical team will now prepare for a visa hearing on Wednesday ahead of making his move to the MKM Stadium. It's unlikely any formal announcement from the club will come until all those formalities have taken place." From the Hull Live article this morning.
I’d argue this is a forum where people can say what they want about what people have posted. Though some would like threads where someone posts something and everyone just post likes.
We used to have and you were one of them at Boothferry Park back in the day. The club eventually caged the players tunnel off and then stopped fans standing there altogether.. Remember Micky Horswill chucking a bucket of water over us after one particular feisty afternoon. Funniest was one of the Directors, could have been chairman Chris Needler, complaining to the police that the fans below the directors box were upsetting the players by humming the death march throughout the game. Happy carefree days following the Tigers.
Micky Horswill. I worked part time in Cross Keys in Cottingham late 70’s and he often sat on his own at one end of the bar drinking pints. I was told to only talk to him when he ordered his drink, and under no circumstances mention football. He was one miserable twat.
I went to an away game at Plymouth in the late 70s. We won 4-2 and I remember Keith Edwards scoring 2 in the first 5 minutes. However I mainly remember Horswill getting booked after a foul 2 seconds into the game. It should have been a sending off as he went straight through Gary Megson who I recall had taken Horswills place in the Plymouth team the year before. Happy days!
