Will people stop going on about this mythical £2m a year lol. It came from one outlet and all the others have reported it verbatim, including the clown Howson.

That's the key isn't it? The manager can have the best track record, but it doesn't mean success at every club they join. Mourinho is a winner practically everywhere he goes, but he didn't win anything at Fenerbahce this season, or anything in his time at Spurs, and nothing domestically at Roma.

If some of the players are annoyed that Sellés was sacked, it wouldn’t surprise me at all. It was the same when Rosenior was sacked. Call them crybabies all you want but it’s not good for morale. I’d be pissed off if my line manager was sacked every six months for no good reason.

 

And I got a new manager who told me what I was doing was wrong and I needed to do things a different way so I go away and work and focus on getting things right and done that way.. only for the manager to be sacked and the new manager coming in tells me what I was doing was wrong and I needed to do things a different way and.. so on.

 

I have been saying for a while about Burstow (although I have to say most of my friends don't agree) that there is a player in there. A loan spell at League 1 and a few goals may be the making of him. I wonder if Plymouth still want him?

 

Or the new manager comes in and gets you doing the things you like to do, results are good and everyones happy. The players will get over it pretty quickly if he's a good manager, as is the case with fans.

 

The point is about the manager churn, not about the manager being good. Because even the good managers go after 6 months.

2m does seen excessive. However, Sinik and Giles have reportedly been receiving about 1.5m each a season. Sort of puts things in perspective, although the figures are a bit scary!

 

Sinik was having 250K annual or something like that, Giles was expensive though. Problem with Sinik is 4M that we paid for nothing in return, 5 in total with his salary.

 

Sinik was on more than 5k a week.
