This chap has managed 7 clubs in 9 years. He’s potentially coming here so he can improve his numbers. It’ll be 9 clubs!

 

boss of Samsun - Thomas Reis -> finished 3rd in league, with transfer ban, will be Europa League
boss of Eyup - Arda Turan -> finished 6th in league, last 4 months players are not paid, they had to sell best player to Galatasaray to cover running costs
boss of Gaziantep - Selcuk Inan -> city effected by earthquake, so no investment to team last 3 years from locals, they even withdrew from league due to earthquake, but somehow managed to stay in league other earthquake effected cities are all dropped leagues
boss of Rize - İlhan Palut -> just above Jakirovic's team, they play pretty good football
boss of Göztepe - Stoilov -> they were in top 5 for a long time, will probably finish in top 10 and many consider them playing the most exciting football after Galatasaray

 

Never know he might turn out to be brilliant and get us playing fantastic football, then again he might not.

 

Actually they were very defensive in that particular game, no surprise really playing a top team. But yes, lets see and fingers crossed he ends up as a good fit.

He might get us on par with the top clubs if the players chip in some goals.

I’d rather Riera or Şahin if I’m being honest. This seems more like a Arveladze/Walter appointment whereas Riera/Şahin would be more like a Rosenior/Sellés appointment.

 

I’m surprised he didn’t get a better gig after Zagreb. He’s more pedigree in the terms of success than Selles, Shota and Rosie put together.

I don't really know to much about him, but I've asked a few who would and for what it's worth, it's all been positive. Id personally prefer someone who knows the league, but that would be to sensible.

Well he must be a tough nut if Meyler just suddenly upped sticks and headed for home.

 

No way was this guy Acun's first choice. It looks like we've missed out on our 1st or 2nd choice since Acun spoke with Baz a week ago... and we've ended up with this guy. That would certainly explain the ITK shouts throughout the week along with betting odds.. one day it was Reira, then Bilic, then Sahin.... now its this guy.
