Nah, they finished 7th in the Championship this season. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Christ K2 I hope you are wrong , at some point in your life you need to have a positive thought tho LOL
KLP left because Shota ‘told him to take pictures ‘ of the play and KLP got his phone out and everyone laughed at him ( allegedly)
Looking for a straw to clutch at, I had a quick glance at his PPG against other managers at his last 4 clubs on transfer market and he’s top 2 or 3 in all of them. I also checked Shota at the Uzbeki side he was at out of curiosity, and he’s by far and away their best manager of recent years…
It feels like when we hired that football management consultant... I wanna be optimistic, but its just ridiculous! We could've at least pretended to get someone like Rohl...at least make the approach and get knocked back.
I’m fairly neutral on it. He’s got a decent track record at a far better level than Shota and Walter had. I know Shota got to Europa league but he didn’t quite have the level of success Jakirovic had. He’s also managed in top divisions unlike Tim. At the same time it’s not a known name. That could affect how we recruit. No experience in this division goes one way or the other. You either get a Daniel Farke, Thomas Frank and Regis Le Bris or you get a Tim Walter and Erol Bulut. Ultimately the pool of proven managers at this exact level are far and few between and those that were available had far more attractive offers than Hull City. TWT. Hopefully, this is one that works out and even if Acun gets an itchy trigger finger and pull the plug if he’s started to look promising but fallen short of the goal of promotions
We have people on this site who don't know the difference between being and been - or between to, two and too.
You say he doesn't know what he is doing but a lot of people would argue Rosenior and Selles were good appointments. So in fact he currently has a 50% strike rate at hiring people. If your glass is half full then he isn't too bad.
I remain positive about a lot of things in life, just not the direction this football club is going in.
