Acun Ilıcalı: [narrating] Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a ****ing big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of ****ing fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the **** you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing ****ing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, ****ed up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you're running Hull City? Oh, not that Trainspotting.
Pandur no doubt will welcome him having played for him previously. I half anticipated that whoever we appointed would be an unknown, that said he'll get my full backing if it turns out to be him. I do wonder though how much the ex goalkeeper now residing in Sheffield, namely Martin Hodges as Head of Recruitment influenced his potential appointment
This feels very much like history repeating itself if this happens. However, as someone else has mentioned, his stats do look impressive and I suppose there are several cases of unknowns from abroad doing very well in the EFL. TWT
Can this guy even speak English? I only ask because he’s spent the entirety of his playing and coaching career in Europe, particularly the Balkans. English proficiency isn’t as common in the Balkans compared to say, the Netherlands or Scandinavia. One of the biggest issues with Arveladze was communication. The players could barely understand him. It was so bad, Lewis-Potter wanted out that summer. Even Walter is fluent in English, as is Sellés. Riera, Şahin, Bilić etc. are all fluent in English too.
Thomas Franck and Daniel Farke were two unknowns and had lesser playing records and less managerial experience than this bloke. And not’s let’s forget Arsene Who? as he was referred to when he arrived in the PL. None of which means this bloke will be any good or not as the case may be.
Dinamo Zagreb record. Won the league and cup double in his first season, following season qualified for Champions League league phase, got beat 9-2 by Bayern Munich, got sacked! And we think we've got a loony owner!
I've just heard a name from my neighbour. I know it's not the done thing to post names in here, but i'm going to. Ange. Granted, he was asking his other neighbour about his wife, who has been unwell.
If it this Croatian gadger, or even isn’t but he ticks the boxes then why wasn’t he suggested earlier by our ITKers? Piss poor effort chaps I mean I don’t pay any attention to football other than Hull City, so I’m off the hook, but come on you Football Knowledgers…buck your ideas up
Even if it is this chap, he won't be in place long enough for people to be able to spell his name. Just ask Joe "Geldhart"
Is this is the point when they take just the gag off Baz as he is sat in the chair tied up in the Mayfair just long enough to phone the HDM to say "its not him"
"Illicali is reportedly unhappy with current coach Ruben Selles"??? Well this is a new one to me!! (Stunned,Glasgow).
What a shower of ****! Talk about scraping the barrel. Don't blame him. Take it, get paid off when sacked in Dec. Good luck to him.
As Baz finally cracks and aquiesces to the name Jakirovic Big Vern slowly unties him from the bloodstained zimmer frame... Baz is heard to mumble Hold on Vern, the Fiorentina manager just...
