Maybe that's how all this works...spin the roulette wheel, speak to manager....spin roulette wheel, offer contract, spin wheel...sack!
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Only Baz said it's an experienced manager.. not sure I'd class any of them as experienced...
I wouldn't have Viera... it would be a big signing for sure, but for certain 'IF' we were successful under him he would be off to somewhere around London in a flash and he wouldn't give a hoot about the mess he left behind.
Another day bound and gagged to a chair in the Mayfair hotel room and no Free Baz campaign from Hull Live. Media blackout. Stockholm Syndrome setting in.
Tigerscave said if he was successful with us and he left to go for another club in london not if we sacked him.
Got to be honest i would be perfectly happy for us to give Viera a chance, he has played in English Football and Managed here to with Palace, his contacts in the game would be decent and he also seems like an all round decent guy who the players would probably get along with good, so more i look at it the more i like the idea of Viera coming here.
I can't remember the exact circumstances surrounding Viera's departure from Palace (and I can't be bothered digging because it probably won't happen anyway), but wasn't he cursed with injuries that season? (I could be way off the mark with this but from memory I thought his departure was harsh)
No,that's why I think Selle's was harshly treated as well. I knew it was coming, the owner's body language telegraphed it,he blamed Selle's for our lowly league position, yet at the same time bemoaned the fact that our best players were injured in his attempt to big up our recruitment(which to be fair brought in a couple of extremely gifted wingers? It made no sense to me,it's contradictory at best...
