That would make sense as his odds that had dramatically shortened have now lengthened somewhat. As with Real Madrid, perhaps he doesn't like to leave his team in the lurch by leaving mid season, with a job still to do there.

Possible I suppose. I suspect the motivation is less noble than that. He'll come to us eventually. When we're already in the Prem and have millions to pay him and many more to offer him as a war chest. Hope I'm wrong but doubt it. Move on to realistic candidates
