I can't say that I'm enamoured with anyone on those betting lists Stan, hence why I haven't commented. I honestly don't know. I thought it would be Paul Clement but his football at Derby was an approach much like Hasselbaink's, odd team selections, negative football and didn't know his best side despite being in the job for seven months.

if only i had known it was that easy to be considered
i will do the job on a rolling ten grand a week contract (saving the club money tick)
youngish (compared to most on here tick)
wont eat on the plane over (hungry tick)
flexible on the ten grand and wont do any public speaking and promise to put the players in the correct positions

until he was our manager. Cut Sherwood or whoever next manager is some slack,for Christ's sake. Not a likeable bloke but he may just be what we need. No Rangers or CFC connections may be a good thing. Too many people seem to be
jumping on the we hate Sherwood bandwagon based on,presumably, a couple of arrogant MOTD interviews . I don't understand what harm he has ever done us and there are no other stand out candidates. I would like Karl Robinson but he has just relegated a side so that's not 100 % ideal.
Whoever gets the gig ,give the poor soul a chance.

The jobs yours although you'll need to do some sucking up to SLF first.

TBH, I actually believe that some on this board could do a better job, at least would start playing people in correct positions etc which would be a first in the passed 4-5 seasons.

Yes indeed, Paul Clement ticks all the boxes and would be the correct selection in my opinion.

Bet Victor now show Sherwood at only even odds and Clement 3/1 - please let it happen.

Was thinking about this earlier. There was no great enthusiasm at the time from what I remember. We were at the end of our tether with the Flavio/Bernie/Gianni circus. A bit like now without the PR/spin bombardment.

He became the man because he is the only man who's been able to channel whatever talent Adel possesses into a team framework. Think of that. Then think of all the other managers AT has played under. And then think of how good NW was for us.

PAUL CLEMENT has dropped a major hint he could be in line for the QPR manager’s job.

The former Derby County boss is now coaching at Bayern Munich, but intriguingly followed Hoops chairman Tony Fernandes on Twitter today.

The 44 year old turned down an offer to join Sam Allardyce’s coaching staff with England (probably a wise move), but a move back to his native London might well appeal.

He is also a QPR fan, was born nearby in Wandsworth, and his father David made 472 appearances for the Hoops.

Paul Clement’s last job in England was with Derby County, and he might fancy a return to his native London with QPR.

Clement was also on a three-man shortlist to replace Harry Redknapp back in 2015, before Chris Ramsey stepped into the breach – albeit unsuccessfully.

QPR are looking to move swiftly to fill the void left by sacking Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The Dutchman was reportedly told five minutes after the final whistle blew of the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest that his time was up.

Hasselbaink was told by general manager Les Ferdinand not to say a word to the media or players about the decision.

Hasselbaink had feared the worst when owner Tony Fernandes sent him a text last week saying that the current squad should be chasing promotion.

Tim Sherwood is the frontrunner to take over at Loftus Road, but this latest development, on social media for the world to see, might well shift the goalposts somewhat.

And it seems the appointment would go down well with fans, who were quick to spot Fernandes' new social media friend.

Steve Allen believes the appointment would bring "entertaining football" to Loftus Road, while Niamh Gleeson "hopes it's true".
