I have been thinking about who we should get...
How about Ramsey (Benny) until Christmas and see how it goes?
Reasons...
What's the point of brining in a Tim Sherwood (or whoever) now. We cannot turn water into wine. We will still have players like Polter and Henry. Why not wait? For me this season is finished (re play offs) and bringing in Tim will be no better than Jimmy (unless he understands football). Ramsey is cheap and when he last took over had big ego's to deal with. That hang over went onto the next season. He knows the club and players so why not. Why rush into a quick change only to change again next year?
Let's take our time.
Good plan, let's do it.

Perfect QPR logic, let's replace the manager we've just sacked because we're into a downward spiral with the manager we previously sacked because we were in a downward spiral. His CV includes leading us to relegation and basically being uninspiring. Yes that's fine...

That is the typical crappy narrow-minded list I hate!

Where's Sven on that list? And all those good Germans? Have they even tried calling the ones in Mexico or Latin America?

Personally, the only one I would look at is Di Matteo. I think he is underrated and under-appreciated, because of his personality. But I think he would fit in with us nicely. And I've been right ever since Uncle Neil with every appointment. Harry was just fluke but he showed what he had once he got us back to the Prem

A nice wind-up, Ellers my friend :emoticon-0136-giggl<laugh>

I was being serious.
Ramsey had too much going against him when he got the job the first time. I said then that there were too many big names and ego's who wouldn't listen to him. Yes i wanted him out because we were told we wanted an instant return to the Prem: now it's different.
We don't know about FFP fine yet so I cannot see us bringing in new players, so what is the point of a new guy like Clement or Dim Tim?
Just look at the list of names linked? Seriously I didn't want JHF gone to see him replaced by any of that lot.

I really hope it's not a manager from the UK. We need a smart, tough, foreign, attack-minded manager who is a master man-manager. There are so many managers around the world who would love to come to England and take a chance at building their careers. I hope that we are not narrow-minded and are looking at some of them.

I hope that you are correct!

Mouse saw Les just before he sacked Jimmy and said he looked like he had something on his mind.
I didn't want Jimmy anymore but a bit harsh to give him that sort of ultimatum especially with Polter up front he had no chance.

I don't honestly know if Peter Reid is entirely human. He's definitely not at the same stage of evolution as the rest of us. If he wasn't a footballer I imagine he'd wear a Burberry cap.
If Peter Reid immagrated from England to Australia he would raise the IQ by one in both countries.

Thread merge, it seems pointless having two threads discussing the same subject running concurrently.

Don't try to drag us down by shipping us another soak, we have more than enough drunks over here.
As far as brains goes, were not looking to lower standards so you can keep him, thanks.
