Nominally he was placed on "gardening leave" but the reason given, hankering after a better job, seemed to have some foundation.

Correct, but I can't remember if it was HIS fit of pique or the boards!

Not yet. TF could yet say No, Try again, when he's got the social media feedback on the latest proposal.

The caviar went with Flavio. With Ollie we might get our soul back.

I hope he proves us wrong, there's a different type of player at the club now, will they take Holloway seriously and buy into his philosophy or just see him as a bit of a fruit cake and struggle to understand what the hell hes going on about!!!

Don't think Les is actually responsible for the football being played, surely that's down to the manager and coaches and players....but that's maybe a bit too obvious a point to accept as you seem to have such a downer on him. Anything else you'd like to blame him for?<doh>

Forgot how much I loved Ollie! It's not an Eddie Howe or a Gary Rowlett that I believe the club has been trying to find since HR, but it is mid season so could do a lot worse-good luck Swindon!

Hold on everyone, I finally understand the strategy.....first Les, now Ollie and Marc....Uncle Tony is building a giant memory room for QPR supporters with dementia! What a nice man. If only he could get us to win a few games like we used to in the old days it would really help. I am contributing to my own therapy by going to see the Damned on Saturday evening, to pretend I'm 16 again, the age I was the last time I saw them live.

They've supposedly interviewed a couple of managers that applied for the job and Holloway, there is no evidence that they actually approached Clement or Rowett. That's not casting the net very wide is it?

Ollie is definitely a fruit loop, if Rowett and Clement were not interested, then comparing Ollie, Robinson, Sherwood, Freedman and Powell, then with Ollie's history and undoubted passion, he has to be "best of the rest".
Hopefully age has matured that somewhat idiotic humour of his.

Not worried about the football ... it's currently a tad off so having a fruit loop for us may put some humour back into our club ... which after all is the most important drug out there

Trevor Sinclair next and then Gerry
and the Allens ... why stop there
Overnight we have a soul again

    Taarabt back on loan

    We are back

We definitely need better form than his Millwall project:-

Championship strugglers Millwall have sacked manager Ian Holloway.

The 51-year-old, who was appointed in January 2014, had his contract terminated with the Lions second from bottom after five defeats in six games.

Ex-Millwall striker Neil Harris will take charge for the rest of the season.

"This was a hard decision to take because we very much hoped that Ollie would prove to be the man to take us forward and on to the next level," said chairman John Berylson.

"I would like to thank him for his efforts, and in particular for keeping us in the Championship last May.

"This season, though, has proved to be an extremely challenging one and we now find ourselves facing another uphill battle to avoid relegation."

Former Queens Park Rangers, Blackpool and Crystal Palace boss Holloway took over last season following the departure of Steve Lomas.

He guided them from 21st to 19th in the table, avoiding relegation by four points.

The club made an encouraging start to this season, winning three and drawing one of their first five Championship matches, but have won just three times since October and are eight points from safety.

Harris scored 138 goals across two spells at The Den and had been coaching Millwall's Under-21 side, having returned to the south London club under Lomas in June 2013.

The 37-year-old had a brief spell in caretaker charge of the Lions after Lomas was sacked in December 2013, drawing one and losing two games.

"I am confident that Millwall fans will give him every support over the next couple of months as we strive to turn our current run of form around," Berylson added.

Still no official announcement, all I've heard on radio is they 'understand' Ollie and Birch are in charge. I don't understand...
