Bloody guys lets not turn this into some race thing. A manager should be picked on who we believe will do a good job at QPR. Who cares what colour he is! Powell is cr@p/Holloway is cr@p.
How the bloody hell did this thread descend into a manager's skin colour being of any relevance to managing?
Agreed 100%. However it has to be acknowledged there are some on here to whom it seems to make a big difference. Shefford is merely making the point that some seem to have been hostile first to Ramsay and then Hasselbaink from the moment they were appointed and have yet to put forward a good reason why. I hasten to add, I do not include you in that as you have consistently put up valid arguable reasons for your opinions that both men were not right for the job. Others have failed to do so. For example, the fact that 'he is ex-Chelsea' or 'he reaped the success of someone else's team' are pretty lame reasons for calling for a new manager's head on a plate before the first ball has even been kicked. Particularly when Karl Robinson is proclaimed to be our new messiah on the basis of one promotion followed by immediate relegation and now a struggle to stay in League 1. What is the difference between him and JFH - apart from the obvious one - which enables some to say instantly that they don't want JFH but would want Robinson?
You assume correctly, but I'm sure if there was any blatant racism in this thread then the mods would of acted accordingly.....if not then please accept my apologies. I would like to hope that all on here don't give a **** what colour a manager is....if he's ****, he's ****.
Yes indeed. But that's not surprising really as 99.9% of all managers since the first black players started to grace our teams have been white. I can recall them too because we seem to have employed most of them in the last 40 years or so!
I was against Ramsey because I thought he was inexperienced. he actually turned out to be cr@p as well. I was against JFH because I thought he was inexperienced. he actually turned out to be utter cr@p as well. Does that make me a racist? I was against Harry when we got promoted because I thought he was rubbish in the Championship. I was against Holloway because I thought he was league One at best. Does that make me a racist? People need to get off these racist comments because it's not about colour its about cr2pness. I am also against Dim Tim because I think he is a muppet. If he was black would I be a racist?
